A bit about me

Hi! I'm Holly and I’m a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor with a warm, down-to-earth approach and I bring empathy and respect to the work I do with my clients.

Drawing from a Person-Centred therapy approach, I work with clients on issues such as anxiety, self-esteem, ADHD, identity and bereavement, and more.

Therapy with me is a gentle, respectful, empathic process where we can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.  I have both professional and personal experience of ADHD and this means that I have a great interest in neurodiversity in my therapy practice. I aim to provide therapy that is informed and inclusive.

My goal is to help you find clarity and confidence in yourself, to feel more connected to yourself.  Together we can work towards reducing the anxiety and the overwhelm, and move towards a feeling of balance and ease in your life.

I have experience of and understand that the transition from one country to another, from one culture to another, can have its challenges, and so I also work with people who are adjusting to life in a new country.  I will work with you as you navigate the difficulties, and help you find ways to adjust to your new place in the world.

I’m here to help you feel empowered, supported, and able to embrace your journey.

Fees:

  • Individual therapy: £60 per 50-minute session

What our clients say about us

On a Tablet

Client, LG

Anne helped me through a really tough and turbulent time in my life. Working with her gave me the confidence and stability I’d been missing, and for the first time, I started to see how parts of my past were holding me back.

In the Woods

Client, DB

At a very difficult time in my life I was advised to speak to Anne.  She listened but didn’t judge.  Instead she helped me to recognise and rationalise my feelings.  I felt she had empathy and a clear understanding of me as a person.  My time with her enabled me to move forward with a greater understanding of myself and my challenges. It gave me the emotional strength to address them with confidence.

Looking at the River

Client, C

I was feeling lost and overwhelmed, but Alex helped me navigate my emotions with kindness and patience. Her support has given me hope, and I now have the tools to manage my mental health in a way I never thought possible.
