A bit about me
Hello and welcome! I’m Anne Lewis, the founder of VIVA Therapy and an integrative therapeutic counsellor with experience of supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges.
I provide a space where you can be heard, where you can feel grounded and understood––where you can share your story without judgement.
I am a fully qualified therapist and, with a background in Person-Centred therapy, I use an integrative approach to therapy. In addition I have trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which is a research-based couples therapy approach, developed by John and Julie Gottman, which focuses on improving communication, intimacy, and conflict resolution.
I work with couples where ADHD and/or autism is a factor––and this is work I feel passionate about. I have professional and personal experience of ADHD and autism, so I know how neurodiversity can really impact how we feel about ourselves and how we are in our relationships.
I will help you understand and improve how you communicate in your relationship and give you the tools you need to reduce defensiveness and conflict, increase your understanding of one another, and help you learn to manage conflict and communication with compassion for each other. We'll work together to help you build a stronger, healthier relationship. I’m here to support you both every step of the way as you move forward.
I am a member of the LGBTQI+ community 🏳️🌈 and so I love working LGBTQI+ couples, and couples where poly or ethical non-monogamy is part of your relationship.

What our clients say about us

Client, LG
Anne helped me through a really tough and turbulent time in my life. Working with her gave me the confidence and stability I’d been missing, and for the first time, I started to see how parts of my past were holding me back.

Client, DB
At a very difficult time in my life I was advised to speak to Anne. She listened but didn’t judge. Instead she helped me to recognise and rationalise my feelings. I felt she had empathy and a clear understanding of me as a person. My time with her enabled me to move forward with a greater understanding of myself and my challenges. It gave me the emotional strength to address them with confidence.

Client, C
I was feeling lost and overwhelmed, but Alex helped me navigate my emotions with kindness and patience. Her support has given me hope, and I now have the tools to manage my mental health in a way I never thought possible.
