What happens in a therapy session?
In a typical session, you’ll have the opportunity to talk about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and supportive space. Your therapist will help you explore challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change. But don't worry, we will work at your pace and you don't have
How long is a session?
Individual and couples therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes. However, we also offer Single Session Therapy (110 minutes) for those who want to focus on a specific issue in a one-off session.
How often should I attend therapy?
Most people attend therapy weekly, but this can vary depending on your needs. Your therapist will discuss a schedule that works best for you.
How long will I need therapy?
Therapy is a highly individual process. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy (6-12 sessions), while others prefer longer-term support. You can have therapy for as long as you find it helpful.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes! In fact this is the only way we work! We provide online therapy sessions, offering flexibility and accessibility so you can attend from wherever you feel most comfortable.
What issues can therapy help with?
Our therapists support individuals with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, stress, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
Do you offer therapy for ADHD?
Yes, we have therapists with experience in ADHD who can help you with the impact of ADHD and develop strategies to manage overwhelm, improve self-esteem, and enhance daily functioning.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy is completely confidential. However, there are some legal exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Your therapist will explain confidentiality in detail during your first session.
How can couples therapy help?
Couples therapy can help partners improve communication, learn how to resolve conflicts, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationship. It provides a safe space to explore challenges and develop healthier patterns of communication.
Do both partners have to attend every session?
Ideally, both partners attend together, but in some cases, individual sessions may be beneficial alongside joint sessions.
