How I can help
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to cope with life's challenges?

Perhaps you're feeling anxious, exhausted, weighed down by loss, adjusting to a significant life change, or struggling with the emotional impact of work, relationships, parenthood, menopause, chronic illness or past experiences. Whatever has brought you to therapy, you don't have to face it alone.

I offer a warm, accepting and confidential space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement. Together we'll explore what's happening in your life, helping you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood and supported as you find your own way forward.

I am an experienced person-centred counsellor with a professional background in both counselling and facilitation. Before training as a therapist, I worked in sensitive areas including sexual health, menstruation, motherhood, ageing and chronic illness, supporting people through some of life's most personal experiences. I also spent many years working in the marketing industry, giving me first-hand insight into the pressures of demanding careers, workplace stress and the challenge of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Alongside my professional experience, I bring a wealth of life experience to my work. I understand how experiences such as bereavement, divorce, burnout, addiction, depression, parenthood and sexual abuse can affect every aspect of our lives. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of being met with empathy, compassion and genuine understanding.

My approach
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role isn't to tell you what to do or to interpret your experiences for you. Instead, I'll work alongside you with warmth, curiosity and acceptance, helping you make sense of what's happening and supporting you as you discover your own answers.

Together we'll explore the challenges you're facing, helping you develop greater self-awareness, gain new perspectives and identify the changes that feel right for you. Whether you're looking for clarity, healing, acceptance or personal growth, therapy offers the space to explore your experiences safely and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.

Supporting women through life's transitions
I have a particular interest in supporting women through the many physical and emotional transitions that life can bring.

Whether you're adjusting to becoming a parent, navigating perimenopause or menopause, living with a chronic health condition, or adapting to the changes that can come with ageing, these experiences can affect your confidence, relationships and sense of identity.

My previous work in sexual health, menstruation, motherhood, ageing and chronic illness gave me a deep appreciation of how closely our emotional wellbeing is connected to our physical health. Therapy offers the opportunity to pause, reflect on these experiences, develop self-compassion and reconnect with what matters most to you.
